Yayasan Karitas Sani Madani

Yayasan Karitas Sani Madani yang kemudian dikenal dengan Yayasan Karisma didirikan pada 28 Desember 2001, oleh orang-orang yang kehidupan keluarganya pernah secara langsung dipengaruhi oleh adiksi narkoba. Yayasan Karisma adalah organisasi nirlaba berbasis kemasyarakatan, yang didanai secara pribadi dan sukarela oleh warga masyarakat yang sangat peduli menyikapi ancaman meningkatnya bahaya akibat adiksi narkoba serta masalah yang terkait HIV dan AIDS .

Saat ini Yayasan Karisma membutuhkan Konselor Adiksi untuk mendukung program Pemulihan Adiksi . Dengan kriteria yang di butuhkan sebagai berikut:

1.     Berpengalaman dalam bidang Konseling Adiksi minimal 1 tahun (Di utamakan yang mempunyai pengalaman minimal 3 tahun)
2.     Pendidikan minimal SMA/sederajat

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Support Officer will be responsible for assisting the Chief of Party in implementing technical assistance and institutional capacity development efforts in support of developing and strengthening law school clinics, and civil society organization (CSO) capacity building.  S/he will work cooperatively with other E2J staff and experts in developing partnerships between partner university law faculties and formal justice sector institutions and between university law faculties and CSOs; in report writing; in law school curriculum development; in capacity strengthening and development of CSOs, in professional development for law lecturers and CSO professionals, and in strengthening the legal education in Indonesia generally. 

The Program Support Officer will work closely with all members of the E2J Team. Since E2J is focusing on synergies and sustainability at this stage of the project, the approach of the position will require cross-cutting collaboration within the E2J Team, within The Asia Foundation Office and its other rule of law programs, and with our external partners.

REQUIREMENTS
·  Minimum of three years of progressively responsible implementation and management experience in an international development environment, with a strong background or specialization in higher education or civil society and formal justice institutional development within the justice sector.
·       Prior experience with USAID-funded projects preferred.
·       Advanced degree in law or related field, political science, international relations or development studies preferred.
·       Written and verbal fluency in English preferred.
·        In-depth knowledge and understanding of Bahasa Indonesia required. 
·        Strong inter-personal and communication skills preferred.
·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team an asset.
·        Attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and organized work practices an asset. 
·        Team-building and networking skills are an asset.

Indonesia Urban Water Sanitation and Hygiene (IUWASH)

The Indonesia Urban Water Sanitation and Hygiene (IUWASH) project is a sixty-month program (2011 – 2016) funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented under the leadership of DAI. IUWASH works with government, the private sector, NGOs, community groups and other stakeholders to improve access to safe water supply and sanitation in Indonesia’s urban areas. The overall goal of IUWASH is to assist the Government of Indonesia (GOI) in making significant progress in achieving its safe water and sanitation Millennium Development Goal (MDG) targets by expanding access to these services.
To achieve the above, assistance provided by the project is divided under three main technical components, including: 
  1. Mobilizing demand for WatSan service delivery; 
  2. Improving and expanding capacity for WatSan service delivery; and
  3. Strengthening policy and the financial enabling environment for improved water supply and sanitation service delivery.
IUWASH will apply different approaches and interventions with its local partners, such as local Water utilities, local and national government institutions, NGOs and communities to address water, sanitation and hygiene. Name of Position: TECHNICAL CONSTRUCTION CONSULTANT

Type of Employment: Short Term Technical Assistance (STTA)
Total Level of Effort/Period: 8 months
Location: Jakarta, with regular travel to Tangerang

Objective
The purpose of this technical assistance is to:
·         Develop specific basic construction training module for contractors consisting of household survey, simple design, BoQ, and construction process (for septic tanks, closet and piping) and quality assurance (QA),
·         Module testing by conducting a series of trainings for the contractors, and
·         Support the contractors during construction management, including logistic arrangement, labor arrangement and construction projection. All of the works must be conducted in collaboration with KPP UMKM Syariah in 17 target areas in Kab. Tangerang.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The activities to be performed by the Technical Sanitation Advisor shall include, but not limited to, the following tasks:
·         Conduct preliminary discussions with IUWASH team, KPP UMKM Syariah and contractors to develop plan and coordination system
·         Conduct meetings at regional and local level to identify the sanitation target demand and to collect information on the existing modules
·         Collect data from relevant partner organizations (KPP and Water.Org) on numbers of potential customer and target areas
·         Develop training modules that will include:
o   Construction process of septic tank, closet and piping and bath room
o   Administration and bookkeeping
o   Operational management (logistic arrangement, labor arrangement, storage/inventory, etc.)
o   Business planning including business projection
·         Conduct training for a minimum of 3 to 4 selected contractors using the module, the training will serve as a try out on the effectiveness of the module in addition to the capacity building for the four pilot contractors to be able to run as a sanitation service providers
·         Revise and finalize module based on the result of the try out
·         Undertake regular technical supervision in the targeted areas
·         Support contractors in selected potential market and working areas plus development of multi-years construction schedule and target
·         Develop and conduct quality assurance for the work of each contractor
·         Conduct regular meeting with IUWASH, KPP UMKM and contractors to obtain inputs and to share results of the each activity
·         Promoting the use and maintenance of new sanitation facilities constructed and the need of regular desludging to each household after construction finished

General Responsibilities:
·         Coordinate with IUWASH WJDB BCC/STBM Specialist on the work plan, activities and field visit to Kab. Tangerang to partners (local government, Water.Org, KPP UMKM Syariah, etc.)
·         Coordinate with sanitation engineer specialist on the sanitation construction activity and quality assurance form development
·         Work closely with city coordinator on regular field activities
·         Periodically undertake special development projects, e.g., reporting of technical and successes and/or lessons learnt. These deliverables may take the form of media presentations, press releases, professional articles or contributions to project newsletter, conferences or workshops
·         Provide monthly reports to IUWASH WJDB BCC/STBM Specialist

Deliverables
1.     Ready to use module on construction process and sanitation business management
2.     Monthly Activity Report including sanitation access and Quality Assurance (QA)
3.     Inputs in the IUWASH WJDB quarterly report where requested
4.     If needed, provide information for IUWASH reports on sanitation sector development
5.     When requested, provide article highlighting IUWASH achievements in private sector participation issues on urban sludge management. 

Posting & Reporting Relationships
The STTA will be based in Jakarta with regular  travel to Kab. Tangerang. He/She will report directly to the WJDB BCC/STBM Specialist (primary supervisor) in Jakarta and WJDB Regional Coordinator and will work closely with City Coordinator. He/She will work in close collaboration with KPP UMKM Syariah and Water.Org. All costs (local transport) for official travel as well as all cost related to production of reports will be financed directly by IUWASH in accordance to standard IUWASH regulations and rates, which included prior approval and evidence of all expenses made. He/She will also receive technical direction from WJDB sanitation engineer and UWASH national team/consultant.

Qualifications
·         A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as environmental engineer or civil engineer
·         At least 3- 5 years of experience in the sanitation program and capacity building program
·         Familiar with water, sanitation and hygiene programs in Indonesia;
·         Possess experience working for/or with local organizations and community groups;
·         Has experience in conducting and facilitating trainings plus organizing work;
·         Ability to understand, speak, and write basic English;
·         Having own motorcycle is preferable
·         Flexibility to work on evenings and weekends on occasion, and to travel substantially within Indonesia.

ASEAN-U.S. Partnership for Good Governance, Equitable and Sustainable Development and Security (PROGRESS)

 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SPECIALIST
 
1.     Background
 
The ASEAN-U.S. Partnership for Good Governance, Equitable and Sustainable Development and Security (PROGRESS) project gives the United States a new opportunity to support ASEAN in its efforts to promote regional integration in the areas of good governance, security, and human development. PROGRESS will not only help ASEAN lay the groundwork necessary to achieve its vision by 2020, but will also fortify cooperation between ASEAN and the United States.
 
2.     Purpose:
 
The Information Technology (IT) Specialist is responsible for the IT needs of the project, including system installations, maintenance, support and technical consultations to clients. S/He is responsible for ensuring that standards set by the DAI home office are followed and project solutions are the most efficient and cost effective. Responsibilities also include assisting in the setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of the LAN (Local Area Networks) at the project office.  Responsible for the setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of client computers and peripherals such as printers and scanners. S/He will ensure that proper back up, anti-virus and disaster recovery procedures are identified and followed and that end users have access to shared files, printers and to email. Ideal candidates will show an interest and capacity to provide project activity support to the program in addition to the core duties outlined below. 
 
3.     Objectives and Duties:
 
·     Local network maintenance and installation including cabling, switches/hubs and configuration TCP/IP, NAT, TCP/IP printing, windows network and domain services on TCP/IP;
·     WAN connectivity and maintenance (Internet connection and services);
·     Server and server application maintenance and installation (Hardware integration, server installation and maintenance, LAN and WAN connectivity, Lotus Domino and messaging system, FTP services, Symantec Antivirus Protection Corporate edition installation and maintenance;
·     Client computer hardware and application installation and configuration, maintenance: Laptops, Desktops, MS Windows XP, MS Office Pro, Lotus Notes and other mail clients, Symantec AV and other project software; Manage all software;
·     Properly maintain all computer and multimedia equipment in the project office;
·     Quickly respond to problems or interruptions in network access;
·     User support; Help project staff with computer-related problems, requests, or questions;
·     Resolve problems with the network connection caused by factors outside the office space;
·     Check systems in order to optimize performance and to initiate recovery action after system failures;
·     Stay on-call when out of the office to help staff with problems or questions related to the network;
·     Maintain communications with the Home Office to resolve problems;
·     Maintain email accounts, email lists, and shared folder access for all staff and confidentiality of all passwords and other restricted information;
·     Make suggestions for network hardware and software system improvements;
·     Assist with the maintenance of effective inventory of IT and communication equipment;
·     Provide assistance in procurement and evaluation of all IT technical equipment;
·     As applicable, conduct IT assessments of beneficiary organizations per DAI procedures, prepare assessment reports and propose required hardware/software;
·     Work with DAI ICT specialists to propose new and innovative tools for data collection, management, visualization, sharing, and analysis and support these processes;
·     In collaboration with the Communications, M&E, and program staff,  ensure utility of data by customizing cloud-based dashboards, maps, and visualization tools that enable sharing and decision-making;
·     Other duties as assigned by the Finance and Operations Manager
The IT Specialist will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia. S/He will report to the Finance & Operations Manager.
 
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
·     Expertise in Lotus/IBM Notes;
·     Experience setting up IT networks;
·     Experience providing IT support to international NGOs or donor-funded projects is preferable;
·     Four-year degree in IT or related field;
·     Strong communication skills desired;
·     Experience managing and manipulating data preferred;
·     English proficiency required
