RTI International is seeking for highly qualified candidates to fill the IT SPECIALIST position .Details of the position can be found below.

Specific Tasks: 
·            To provide support – in matters related to IT infrastructure and systems – to RTI Indo regional office and project offices in Indonesia which do not have a permanent IT staff, including on share internet access, network devices, file/database server, backup systems and other IT-related support tasks
 
·            To maintain Project servers at offices which do not have a permanent IT staff:
         To ensure Windows Server and other softwares are maintained and that patches are promptly applied on all servers
         To ensure that both the engine and signature files are kept up-to-date
         To ensure information is backed up and maintained in accordance with RTI policies and procedures
         To maintain spare parts and carry out hardware repairs and restoration
 
·            To provide support in matters related to PC software and its peripherals (Win XP Pro, Win 7 Pro, Microsoft Office 2010, McAfee antivirus, Checkpoint Pointsec, etc) including:
         To ensure Windows and other softwares are maintained and that patches are promptly applied on all computers.
         To ensure the anti-virus software is installed and that both the engine and signature files, are kept up-to-date
         To ensure information is backed up and maintained in accordance with RTI policies and procedures.
         To provide user support on hardware-, networking- and software-related issues.
 
·            To install and manage the configuring and troubleshooting of laptops / desktops / printers / scanners.
 
·            To serve as the first port-of-call for the maintaining of network infrastructure including ISP, router and ethernet switches for RTI Indo regional office and project offices in Indonesia which do not have a permanent IT staff.
 
·            To coordinate with the Administration Unit of RTI Indo regional office for IT Inventory Management and for conducting physical checks on a regular basis.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (or its equivalent) in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or other related field
 
  • Work Experience:
       At least 3 years of experience in supporting a wide range of IT infrastructure systems in multiple locations
       Prior experience working on USAID- or AUSAID-funded programs or other international organizations  in a senior-level IT support capacity would be an added advantage
       Skills/ Competencies:
       Strong PC and Server support experience
       Demonstrated experience in or basic knowledge of Windows Server 2008, MS Office 2007/2010, Win 7 Pro and McAfee anti-virus
       Good work ethics and strong desire to complete tasks in a timely manner as directed
       Ability to work in a team environment
       Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
       A customer service oriented individual
       Ability to work well under pressure
       Tact and discretion in dealing with confidential matters
       Show willingness to keep abreast of available technology or to learn new technology; while at the same time understand applicability and limitations of technology to the work of the office
  • Language: Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia

CDM Smith

CDM Smith is a privately owned, global, full-service consulting, design/build engineering, construction, and operations firm helping public and private clients improve their environment and infrastructure through award-winning projects. CDM Smith is currently looking for a Program Compliance and Monitoring Specialist for its new office in Jakarta in support of the Millennium Challenge Account - Indonesia Green Prosperity project. Under this project, CDM Smith and its international team of experts will be providing Program Management Services. Our expectation is to hire a highly qualified and motivated professional who can provide M&E support to monitor all GP program activities.

Position :  Program Compliance and Monitoring Specialist - Green Prosperity Program Management Unit
Location:   Jakarta, Indonesia    

Responsibilities:
·         The Program Compliance and Monitoring Specialist will be responsible for monitoring all GP program activities, outputs and results to assess and document compliance with relevant environmental and social safeguard requirements, as well as the overall progress of the project according to agreed performance metrics and indicators. He/she will work closely with MCA- Indonesia environmental, social/gender, and monitoring and evaluation directors, as well as the PMC’s own environmental and social/gender specialists (see below) to develop and deploy operating practices and procedures for monitoring safeguard compliance and project performance;
·         Assist in developing relevant performance indicators for tracking of project performance in terms of deliverables, outputs, outcomes and impacts;
·         Assist M&E team, GP Associate Directors, Associate Grant Window Managers and other relevant staff in reviewing proposed M&E plans, performance indicators of project proposals;
·         Provide technical guidance to grantees in refining and fine-tuning the M&E framework, results chains development, indicators selection and methodology;
·         Review M&E data loaded into the database for accuracy;
·         Participate in Data Quality Assessment/Monitoring to project’s sites;
·         Assist in preparing M&E quarterly report, annual report or any other reports for various key stakeholders;  
·         Carry out relevant analytical works and perform other tasks as may reasonably be required by the PMC and GP Associate Directors, MCA-Indonesia in order to fulfill the objectives of Green Prosperity.

Requirements:
·         Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in in any one of these fields environmental management, social sciences, economics, or related field.
·         5-10 years of experience in development and maintenance of IT-based monitoring plans to track the environmental, social, and economic performance of large-scale development, environmental and/or infrastructure programs similar to Green Prosperity.
·         5 years of experience in developing Monitoring and Evaluation framework of programs similar to Green Prosperity;
·         Familiar with international environmental and social performance standards, in particular IFC performance standards.
·         Demonstrated understanding of the social and environmental context of Indonesia.
·         Must be willing and able to visit remote field locations, with anticipated travel of approximately 25%.
·         Proven team player capable of working with a team of multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural specialists.
·         Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

EQWIP HUBS will be a dynamic platform of diverse actors and young people working together to develop solutions to both local and global social, economic and environmental challenges in six countries around the world. EQWIP, an innovative youth serving partnership between Canada World Youth (CWY) and Youth Challenge International (YCI) has brought together a global consortium including UN-HABITAT, TakingITGlobal (TIG) and the Education Development Centre (EDC) to collaborate on this initiative. 

Through 17 youth centered HUBS in urban areas, participatory programming will support young people in accessing a sustainable livelihood. Through the engagement of a multi-stakeholder HUB Network, EQWIP HUBS will foster a supportive and responsive enabling environment for youth livelihood activities by providing mentorship, coaching and access to capital. The HUB Network will strengthen the capacity of public and private sector stakeholders and civil society related to youth mainstreaming for policies, products and services.

Position Description: 
The Operations Manager, reporting to the Country Manager, will provide operations management of the HUB project across the three (3) national HUB locations, including coordination of personnel, project activities and financial and material resources. S/he will establish and maintain positive, collaborative and productive relationships with project staff and implementing partners. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
 Support the Country Manager with daily project management, contributing to project decision-making by providing input on the financial health and status of the project 
 Coordinate with headquarters to ensure appropriate financial and administrative management and compliance with donor rules/regulations 
 Identify areas of risk and take steps to reduce vulnerabilities 
 Ensure preparation and submission of financial reports, manage and monitor cash flows related to project expenses 
 Lead annual budgeting exercise and collaborate with the Country Manager and other technical team leaders to ensure program activities are in accordance with the project budget and work plan 
 Maintain and refine policies and procedures for the procurement and disposal of project goods and services, in compliance with project policies and procedures and regulations, and provide training to admin and finance staff on proper procurement procedures 
 Review, negotiate, and approve all field office contracts (including service agreements, office leases, contracts), ensuring all required contractual terms and conditions are included and obtaining the best value to the project 
 Oversee the process for renewing local hire employment contracts on an annual basis, ensuring annual performance reviews are completed and employment contracts renewed on time 
 Lead the process for the recruitment of local staff, including review of job descriptions, salary negotiations, and contract development 
 Provide guidance to supervisors on recruitment procedures, promotions, and performance management 
 Develop and manage an online timesheet management system for local project staff 
 Oversee local company registration requirements and ensure EQWIP maintains compliance with evolving local regulations (e.g. taxation, employment/labour, etc.) 
 Ensure security guidelines and procedures are established, maintained, updated regularly and adhered to by the project teams. Monitor the security situation along with senior management and communicate procedures to staff 
 Perform other duties as delegated by the Country Manager 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS 
 Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field 
 5 to 7 years of demonstrated experience with mid-level management responsibilities for finances, procurement, human resources, and contracts 
 Experience providing management and oversight of field office operations, especially across central and satellite offices 
 Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage, motivate and mentor staff at all levels to create a positive team environment 
 Strong knowledge of generally-accepted accounting and procurement practices 
 Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines 
 Strong diplomatic, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required 
 Advanced-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and basic functional knowledge of QuickBooks or other field accounting software packages preferred 
 Strong verbal and written English skills required
