3. Engineer/ Senior Engineer–Electrical Maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum 12 years experience in maintenance of electrical

5. SENIOR POWER STATION OPERATOR

QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mech./Elect. /Power), max. graduated on
2006

· AGE – Not more than 35 years

· Minimum 2 – 5 years experience in operation of a modern
gas/thermal power & desalination station.

· The applicant shall be well versed in power / desalination
plant operations through DCS system.

· Responsible for monitoring and operating the plant /
equipment from the central control boards and optimize plant operation.

· Responsible for satisfactory operation of the assigned plant
(Boiler, Turbine, Generator and Desalination Plant) with the appointed
crew.

· Should be well experienced in the overhaul/Major inspection
and trouble shooting of Power /Heat recovery boilers and it's

malfunctions and finalize short term/ long-term corrective actions.

· Should have adequate writing/communicati on skills to prepare
reports, tender specifications, contract documents etc.

· Responsible for preparation of maintenance budget, control
and effective utilization of the same.

· Should have experience in spare parts planning, purchase and
inspection activities.

· Should have good knowledge of computerized Maintenance
management system.

· Should have good knowledge of Safety, OHSAS and ISO
standards.

· Shall be a capable of managing Major/minor overhauls and
routine maintenance effectively.

17. SR. Engineer Mechanical Maintenance (Desalination)
QUALIFICATIONS

plant of MSF technology, including sea water system, DM water plant,

for routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance of a large Power
Steam/Gas Turbines, Boilers, and Large Pumps etc.

· Should have experience in overhaul Major Inspection of Steam
or Gas Turbines.

· Should have capability to effectively plan, schedule, and
supervise work with highest reliability and productivity.

· Should have experience in troubleshooting equipment
malfunctions and select corrective actions.

· Should have adequate writing skills to prepare reports and
written documents- shall have a good knowledge of standards and
practices applicable to power plant equipment

· Should have experience in spare parts planning, purchase and
inspection activities.

· Should have knowledge in using computerized Maintenance
management system effectively over and above good computer use
experience.

· Shall ensure good safety practices in work.

20. Foreman (Mechanical Maintenance)

QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, max. graduated on 2003

· 6-8 years experience in a large power station or similar
field like refinery, petrochemical or fertilizer plant.

· Shall have experience in overhaul or major inspection of a
large Steam / Gas Turbines, pumps, compressors, boilers, high pressure
valves, etc. S

· Shall have knowledge of international standards on material
and machinery fit standard, tolerances.

· Shall have basic knowledge of ND tests. Shall have
experience in planning, scheduling and execution overhaul work.

· Shall have leadership qualities to lead a team of
professional technicians for timely and quality work execution.

· Should have experience in computer use for data entry and
analysis using a maintenance management system software

· Shall have experience in Pipeline fabrication and or
overhaul of large vertical and multistage pumps.

· Should have good experience with renowned maintenance /
refurbishment contractors

· Should be safety conscious.

21. Senior Mechanic

QUALIFICATIONS

Higher Secondary School Certificate followed by Trade School
Certificate- Apprenticeship / on job training in power station or
continuous process Industry.

· Minimum 8 years experience in maintenance and overhaul of
large Steam Turbines and / or Major Inspection of Industrial Gas
Turbines.

· Have experience in Overhaul of Large vertical pumps, Power
boilers, Multi stage high-pressure pumps etc.

· Capable of independently handling the work allocated to him
on overhaul of the equipment referred to above.

· Shall have a fair knowledge of the rigging of parts of large
machines and various measuring instruments and precision tools.

· Shall have capability to align turbine to generator.

· Shall be able to read and understand machine drawings and
should be familiar with fits and tolerances in assembly of machinery.

· Should be able to converse English language.

General skills and qualifications required:

- Male, Age between 30 – 45 years old.

- Must have excellent spoken and written in English, other language
is highly desirable.

- Working Reference and Computer literate

- A self starter, energetic, good personality, highly motivated and
inspirational

- Have excellent communication skills

Cross is currently implementing its development programs in Banda Aceh, Aceh

The work of the American
Red Cross in
Indonesia
is focused on 6 main areas: water and sanitation, community infrastructure,
psychosocial support, health (avian flu, community-based first aid, social

The American Red Cross Tsunami is currently seeking a CIP Project Manager
(1 person) to be based in Banda Aceh for a 4 month fixed term
contract.





Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead, manage and
administer CIP activities in daily basis

Apply the
project management principles to ensure achievement in the term of time,
quality and proper documentation.

Provide
technical reviews and guide engineering designs using government standards of
construction, scope of work, estimated budget and method of implementation for
each project.

Prepare
procurement request for each project, coordinate with ARC operations,
procurement and finance department for selection and supervision of contractor.

·
Provide distance
monitoring on ongoing projects through project staff.

·
Field
verification visit on each site for quality assurance and track progress for
each project on periodical time basis.

Maintain periodic
documentation of project progress tracking, monitoring and reporting.

Prepare and
issue project progress and completion certification, verify payment claims
accordingly.

·
Maintain
adequate coordination and communication with internal and external stake
holders.

Maintain
constant communication with respective government agencies to verify project
designs according to criteria and incorporate their feedbacks into project and
financial designs.

Qualifications:

Civil Engineering
degree from reputed university in
Indonesia
Minimum 7-10 years
working experience in the construction fields.
Proficiency on preparing
engineering designs, project monitoring and management for tracking
progress and quality assurance.
Experience in
preparing and coordinating procurement for construction projects, contract
management and dealing with consultants essential.
Proficiency in English
and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken)
