Due to rapid business expansion, currently we are seeking for the highly motivated professionals to strengthen our team in the following position:
PORT MASTER (PO-MT)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
(a) set up and positioning every barge berth in the jetty;
(b) set up and have a smooth accurate reporting system for loading in every jetty;
(c) actively involve in improving the condition of the jetty in order to make the loading in standard and safe condition;
(d) assist / support The Barge Manager re the best way to load the barge.
REQUIREMENTS:
diploma or bachelor degree in relevant background from reputable institution;
5-7 years experience in handling jetty / terminal for loading / unloading purpose with minimum 1 year experience at the same level;
understanding of barge documents;
excellent reporting skill; knowledge of Basic Legal and Basic Finance;
strong leadership and negotiation skills.
BUYER (BY) RESPONSIBILITIES:
(a) receives and reviews a wide variety of requisitions and sourcing potential vendors;
(b) reviews bid proposals from vendors and makes recommendation;
(c) follow up with vendors on goods delivery;
(d) close PO's status;
(e) evaluates vendors' performance; and
(f) maintains records of purchased items, cost, delivery, performance and inventory.

REQUIREMENTS:
bachelor degree (preferable in Engineering) from reputable university;
5-6 years experience in the similar type of business with minimum 1 year experience at the same level;
knowledge of Basic Legal, Basic Finance, and product-related standards and specifications; advanced administrative skills;
good level of concentration;
strong leadership and negotiation skills.
