TRAINING SUPERINTENDENT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of TRAINING
SUPERINTENDENT, CRAFT SCHOOL in our Craft Training Centre. We are
pleased to invite Superintendents and/or Supervisors (or others who
interested to apply are welcome) of PTMI Batam to fill that position.

Reporting to the Yard Development Manager (Fareed Shaik) and
supervising a group of Training Coordinators and Competency Assessors,
you will be responsible for the following:
Job Summary

Responsible for the efficient operation of the Craft Training Center
in support of business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Liaise with yard personnel and organize/schedule training
in various crafts.
2. Identify and establish the training needs of internal
clients and prioritize the training plan.
3. Screen, train and maintain a pool of qualified and
certified internal trainers for the various crafts.
4. Design and develop appropriate craft training curriculum in
line with business requirements and continually improve/update
5. Ensure optimal use of Craft Training Center facilities.
6. Ensure McDermott and international craft training standards
are adhered.
7. Supervise; provide leadership, guidance and support to
craft training team.
8. Responsible and accountable for the maintenance of the
training facility, equipment, books, and consumable Inventory.
9. Recommend, design and implement systems that improve the
overall training effectiveness and return on training investments.
10. Manage, maintain, forecast and monitor the craft training budget.
