We are Shipping Company is looking for a qualified & highly motivated
person for the following position:

Ass Mgr of Procurement - Material Mgt
(Jakarta)

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize and schedules for supply chain, stock inventory,
requisitions and purchase order for supplies and equipment
Analyze and compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in
order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
Track the status of delivery, requisitions, contracts, orders and
stock control records.
Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been
filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.
Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering
more materials when necessary.
Reviews record for accuracy of information and compliances with
established procedures
Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status,
changes, or cancellations.
Participate in the development of specifications for equipment,
products or substitute materials.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, any field.
Preferably graduated from Marine Engineering/ Ship Engineering/
Mechanical Engineering.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in Purchasing of Shipping
Business or Heavy Equipment Industry.
Preferably Head/Supervisors specializing in purchasing/ Inventory/
Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
