Our client is a Norwegian company that deals with ship transport, energy and provider of services for managing risk.

We are looking for Market Business Development Manager



Responsibilities
• Identify new business opportunities in the regional Offshore support/ Deep water market.
• Develop marketing/ sales strategies and sales action plan towards offshore/ maritime market.
• Conduct monthly sales forecast based on market feedback and client’s information.
• Responsible for delivery of the sector Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
• Build up Key Accounts portfolio base on both local & area clients.
• Responsible for preparation and submission of relevant tender document for all tender enquiries.
• Service existing business and develop new business through enhanced customer relationships.
• Arrange Marketing, Sales and Relationship Building Events in Singapore and the Region.
• Pro-actively hunt and grow new clients, as well as build strong relationships with existing ones.
• Coordinate activities with CSM teams, unit managers and relevant global segment responsible(s).
• Ability and motivation to meet and communicate with existing and prospective customers.
• Ability to quickly grasp classification process.
Qualifications
• Technical Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Offshore Engineering/ Naval Architecture/ COC-1 (Nautical/Marine Engineer) or other relevant education.
• 5 to 8 years Sales/ Business Development/ Marketing/ Operations experience in the Offshore/ Oil & Gas industries.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Offshore/ Maritime industrial and safety practices.
• Self-driven and ability to work independently.
• Extensive existing network in the region in the offshore sector.
• Proven track record in business development/ marketing and sales.
• Market oriented and sales driven mindset.
Conditions of Employment
• Location: Singapore.
• Commencement: As soon as possible, subject to mutual agreement.
• Duration: Permanent, Local conditions.
