CARE International Indonesia (CII)

CARE International Indonesia (CII), as an international NGO, has carried out large scale operations in Indonesia, encompassing emergency 
operations, transitional activities centered on agriculture and 
nutrition and a range of development initiatives in such areas as water 
and sanitation, health and micro-credit.

CARE Indonesia  in Head Quarter-Jakarta  is currently recruiting the following position for its project: 
  
JOB TITLE : MOTIVATOR for P.A.C.E PROGRAM GRADUATION CELEBRATION (CONSULTANT) 
DEPARTMENT/PROJECT : PROGRAM/P.A.C.E 
REPORTS TO : PROJECT MANAGER 
    
BACKGROUND
The P.A.C.E Program dedicated to female garment workers in PT. Makalot Industrial Indonesia and PT Gunung Salak. P.A.C.E Program is funded by Gap. Inc collaborated with CARE at Gap Inc, Vendors (Makalot and NOBLAND). P.A.C.E program phase 1 has been running at NOBLAND vendor since April 2012. The main purpose of P.A.C.E Program Phase 1 is to improve 260 female garment worker life skills and to ensure sustainability of life skills education program at Gap Inc, vendor through training of trainers for 10 PT. Makalot’s staff and 24 NOBLAND’s staff.   
A whole series from regular training on (3) Core Modules: Communications, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Stress and Time Management and four (4) Supplementary Modules : Women’s Health, Financial Literacy, Legal Literacy and Social Entitlement, and Execution Excellence and three (3) Essential Sessions: Introductory Session, Closing Session, and Consolidation Sessionhave been implemented by the end of March 2013. 
The training has been attended with a total of 253 FGWs from 10 different classes participated fully completed a set of core modules and supplementary modules. Regular training has been conducted from 26 May 2012 and will be ended on 6th April 2013.  Based on the situation above, P.A.C.E Program teams will conduct graduation ceremony to celebrate completion of P.A.C.E Program learning skills and declare project success and deliver the good news to all Project Team and congratulate them on a job well done and also describing the value of their contribution to a successful project and recommending a favourable review and reward. 
  
  
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
The consultant will focus on refreshment module and motivate the participants in P.A.C.E Program Graduation Ceremony based on output and achievement as well as it was mentioned above and all input during project implementation. Graduation ceremony will be developed in conduct close relation and collaboration with core team for P.A.C.E. Program. She/he will receive some documentation and information as raw material. She/he will report all of activity to Project Manager directly.
  
  
  
QUALIFICATIONS
1.       Bachelor degree with extensive experience in working with the community and manual writing, Master degree will be advantageous.
2.      Familiarity with the female worker issue, especially garment worker issue – education and improving life skill capacity.
3.      Familiarity with adult education approach methodologies and tools, which is included contextual, condition and cultural barriers of female worker conditions.
4.      Ability to plan and work independently and efficiently and to understand and analyze information quickly.
5.      Ability to deal with and effectively resolve unexpected issues.
6.      Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, especially related to worker issues.
