One of our clients, a well known multinational sport shoes and garment manufacturer, is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of:

Lab Test Engineer

Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical, Materials or Bio-Mechanical Engineering

Experience:
- Fresh graduate will be considered.
- At least 1 year experience experience in test design, data collection, data analysis, equipment design and/or product development is an advantage
- Experience or exposure to footwear or sports equipment is an added advantage

Abilities:
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Experience in use of PC based spreadsheets and Word processing programs (preferably Word & Excel for Windows).
- Experience with statistical analysis software, LabView, and AutoCad, Pro E or other CAD/CAM software desired.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis of data is required.
- Experience with some basic instrumentation equipment (volt meter, oscilloscope, A/D boards, pressure sensors, potentiometers, etc.) required.
- Organization and planning skills; ability to do multiple tasks
- Ability to work with and collaborate with other functions across countries, vendors and factory groups

Job/role description:
- Works with various customer groups to include Design and innovation through Production, to define and implement procedures for testing new products and developing technologies
- Selects testing specifications and ensures testing procedures are in compliance with internal and external standards
- Documents procedures and recommendations for all phases of testing.
- Completes testing or instructs Lab Engineers on test Protocol and documentation.
- Reviews and analyze documents and communicate results
- Assist Sr. Test Engineer on larger scale projects
