Company Profile

To provide quality input during the during the pipeline engineering,
procurement, construction, installation and mechanical completion
phases of the Offshore Project scope of work.

Key Result Areas:

•Reports to Offshore Quality Manager and predominantly responsible for
QA and QC of pipeline engineering, construction and installation work
scope.

•Provide quality input to engineering equipment and bulk criticality,
inspection levels, procurement packages, material requisitions and
technical bid evaluations.

•Reviews EPC Contractor’s, Subcontractors’, Vendors’ and Sub vendors’
Quality documentation including Quality Manuals, Plans, Procedures and
required submittals, including the identification of Company
Inspection Points on Inspection and Test Plans.

•Manage the Procurement Surveillance Plan to monitor the effectiveness
and compliance of the Contractor’s Vendor Inspection activties on
pipeline equipment and materials.

•Participate in pre-inspection meetings with vendors of pipeline
components in collaboration with discipline engineers/specialists to
ensure that contractors / vendors understand clearly the Project and /
or specific equipment quality assurance requirements.

•Assist in development of the Construction Surveillance Program for
the oversight of all pipeline activities at site(s) and, managing its
implementation.

•Overseeing the activties of all PMT vendor inspection and site
quality inspection staff associated with pipeline activties.

•Preparation of weekly site quality reports.

•Provide oversight to ensure that pipeline mechanical completion
activties have been conducted and comply with project specifications
and procedures.

Communications and Working Relationships:

•Interfaces with Project Team, EPC Contractor and Vendors on issues
relating to the position. This requires effective communication,
initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.

•Exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, interpersonal
understanding, and self-confidence.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

•Bachelor of Science in Engineering
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Good technical team skills
•Minimum of ten (10) years broad experience in all project phases i.e.
engineering, fabrication and construction, would have at least five
(5) years specific involvement in Offshore facilities.
•Worldwide experience with contractors and vendors.

Status: Contract
Location: Doha, QATAR

Remuneration: 650 - 650 US Dollars/day
