palm-based consumer companies in Indonesia which is committed to
sustainable palm oil production.SMART listed its shares on the
Indonesia Stock Exchange in 1992.

SMART is a subsidiary of Golden Agri-Resources Ltd ("GAR"), which is
one of the largest palm-based companies in the world which is listed
on the Singapore Exchange. SMART also manages all of GAR's oil palm
plantations, which has a total planted area of 435,000 hectares
(including small holders) in Indonesia, as at 30 September 2010.

For this objective we wish to recruit dynamic, highly motivated and
committed candidates for future leaders in our several business units.

Senior Manager Communications

Responsibilities:

Develop strategic corporate communications, internally/ externally
Provide senior management with necessary strategic communication directions
Ability to achieve Company’s Objectives and ultimately able to
maintain Company’s positive reputation
Foster ongoing proactive relationship with the Press and Media
Develop and maintain working relationship with appropriate current
and new communications partner to ensure that opportunities are
capitalized to the fullest benefits

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate
Diploma in Mass Communication.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the same field,
preferably in the Agribusiness/ Mining/ Oil & Gas sector
Excellent communication skills and English writing skills
Able to think analytically under pressure
