The Strategies Against Flu Emergence (SAFE)
PROGRAM ASSISTANT
The Strategies Against Flu Emergence (SAFE) is a three-year program (March 15, 2011 – March 14, 2014) funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) based in Jakarta, and implemented by Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI).
SCOPE OF WORK
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
· Maintain appointments, records, report document and filing system
· Conduct correspondence with SAFE implementing partners on report submission
· Assist in preparation of training materials
· Prepare documents and additional items for workshops, etc
· Record training and other information on the technical and administrative management information system (TAMIS) and USAID TraiNet database
· Support organization of training activities
· Support monitoring of training activities
· Coordinate with grants and contracts specialist on USAID regulations
· Prepare budgets for training and workshops
· Any other administrative tasks
· Other duties as requested by component team members
REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum of Diploma 3 required
· Experience with USAID funded projects required
· Proven ability to develop and analyze budgets using MS Excel
· Proven ability to use MS Word and MS PowerPoint
· Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Ability to travel overnight outside of Jakarta
