JOB VACANCY
Position Title : Chief of Accounting
Department : Finance
Direct reporting: Operation Manager
Date required : Immediately
Location : Denpasar
PURPOSE OF POSITION :
·        Provides leadership for all financial and grant management activities and ensure that the financial reports are compliance with MDPI’s financial, accounting system and help to prepare budgeting.
·        To provide management information system based on financial data such as monthly financial report, tax report, donor report, and ensure that all financial activities are compliance with Government’s guidelines 
·        Review financial paperwork and procedures, provide recommendations and make necessary changes;
·        Produce periodic financial reports and other financial documents for the management of the MDPI Foundation in accordance with the charging code and each budged source.
·        Ensure timely and accurate monthly and year end closure of accounts, including bank reconciliation, and submit reports to the Director as per prescribed deadlines;
·        Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining audit-compliant internal financial controls and coordinate financial audit;
·        Ensure timely and effective follow up to audit observations and recommendations;
·        Update the financial status of the organization and coordination using email
·        Prepare staff payroll administrations, including benefit.
·        Manage the finance team and ensure a well-functioning department which is capable of meeting the needs of the organization
·        Advise management of the organization on finance issues
Requirements:
·        At least 7 years relevant experience in non-governmental accounts and financial management with ability to manage and complete numerous tasks with a high degree of organization and limited resources
·        Working knowledge of accounting software (Quick Book, E – SPT, Excel & Krishand)
·        Good communication skills and good command in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesian.
·        Experience with government tax rules and regulations and experience working in an international NGO is desirable.

Indonesia untuk Kemanusiaan (IKa), adalah organisasi sumberdaya dan filantropi bagi keadilan sosial yang mendukung gerakan masyarakat sipil di Indonesia. Untuk mendukung kerja-kerja pemberdayaan masyarakat, maka saat ini kami sedang mencari kandidat untuk menempati posisi Pembukuan (accounting).
 
Uraian Tugas dan Tanggung Jawab
  1. Mengkompilasi dan mencatat  seluruh transaksi keuangan; lembaga, hibah dan dana  penggalangan publik ke dalam sistem  / software akunting lembaga.
  2. Memeriksa rekonsiliasi data keuangan untuk memastikan data terinput dengan benar (bank dan kas, uang muka, utang dan piutang)
  3. Melakukan rekonsiliasi bank dan menyusun jurnal koreksi baik dana hibah program maupun hasil penggalangan dana publik
  4. Menyusun dan mengeluarkan laporan keuangan sesuai PSAK 45 (bulanan, 3-6 bulanan dan tahunan) yang diperlukan lembaga untuk kepentingan manajemen, donor, publik serta audit (internal dan eksternal) berupa laporan posisi keuangan, laporan aktifitas dan laporan arus kas.
  5. Menyimpan dan mengarsipkan seluruh data transaksi sesuai dengan nomor voucher dan kode budget masing-masing program.
  6. Melaksanakan tugas lain yang sesuai dengan fungsi dan tanggungjawab keja yang diberikan atasan langsung.
  7. Mewakili Manajer Keuangan sesuai kapasitas dan  kebutuhan
 Kualifikasi:
  1. Lulus  MINIMAL D3 (jurusan akutansi) dengan pengalaman kerja minimal 1 tahun
  2. Memiliki kemampuan excel dan program Microsoft office lainnnya.
  3. Menguasai aplikasi computer akuntansi atau pernah menggunakan software akuntansi Sango, menjadi nilai tambah.
  4. Memiliki ketekunan dan kedisplinan untuk menyelesaikan tugas tepat waktu.
  5. Memiliki keinginan untuk belajar dan mengembangkan pengetahuannya sesuai kebutuhan organisasi.
  6. Memiliki kepedulian terhadap masalah-masalah sosial
  7. Memiliki kecakapan bahasa Inggris minimal pasif
  8. Dapat bekerja dalam tim (bersedia berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan-kegiatan lembaga/diluar tugas utama.

MDPI Foundation

Title: Accounting

Background
MDPI Foundation – www.mdpi.or.id was founded in July 2013 as an independent foundation focused on achieving responsible and sustainable fisheries activities and attempting to provide ongoing care for the conservation of fisheries resources and ecosystems of Indonesia and the region. These attempts towards sustainability are specifically focused on small scale, artisan fisheries. MDPI additionally focuses on supporting the development of the fishing communities and supply chains which are related to these fisheries, through programs which aim to support economic improvements and social stability for the people. Until now MDPI has worked predominantly on tuna related projects but is widening its scope and approach on various other fisheries (yellowfin tuna, skipjack tuna, baby clam, blue swimming crab, mud crab), specifically small scale, throughout communities in Indonesia.
Minimum Requirements :
   Min. DIII in Accounting/Management
   Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting and administration
   Understand Indonesia tax regulation, A/P and A/R
   Sound communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
   Demonstrated computing skills and abilities, particularly in MS applications (Word and Excel)
   Good interpersonal and communication skills with other team members
   Ability to work with minimum supervision
   Conscious about meeting deadlines
   Detailed oriented

RutgersWPF Indonesia

RutgersWPF Indonesia is an organisation working on sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and sexual gender based violence (SGBV). We have a longstanding expertise in this field and work together with organisations in many other countries. RutgersWPF Indonesia consists of a dynamic team of 20 staff members. RutgersWPF Indonesia works together with many partner organizations in promoting SRHR and working on prevention of SGBV.
 
Currently RutgersWPF Indonesia is looking for enthousiastic candidates for the following position and who are interested in working on SRHR issues and who are available on short notice:
 
 
Accounting Officer
Based in Jakarta, 1 (one) position
 
 
Tasks and responsibilities:
 
The Accounting Officer will be responsible for handling multi project activities, general ledger management, account reconciliation, cash receipts processing, depreciation and accruals, investment accounting, restricted asset release, A/R and A/P collections, and preliminary monthly accounting cycle closing. S/he must also be able to travel regularly to the project areas. Accounting Officer will play a support and coordination role for partner organization implementing RutgersWPF Indonesia’s programs.

 
Core Tasks :
 
1.      Responsible and monitoring partners financial report to ensure that they are prepared properly and follow up as required by RutgersWPF Indonesia and donors.
2.      Monitor and follow up on receivables that have been outstanding for unusually long periods of time.
3.      Produce monthly financial statements including balance sheet, profit/loss statements, and accumulative general ledger using a computer – based accounting system.
4.      Ensure that all general ledger accountants are reconciled to subsidiary records on a monthly basis.
5.      Prepare monthly closing general ledger entries.
6.      Oversee filing of Monthly Income tax forms under PPH 21, PPH 23, and PPH 25.
7.      Oversee in conjunction with independent auditor, preparation of annual audit.
8.      Reconcile bank and investment accounts and prepares related journal entries.
9.      Supervise preparation of invoices.
10.    Perform other duties as assigned by Finance Manager.

Requirements:
1.    Has minimum 5 years experiences in accounting and/or finance, preferably with international NGOs; experience in Certified Public Accounting (CPA) would be an advantage.
2.    University Degree in Accounting or related field.
3.    High degree of knowledge regarding taxes regulation.
4.    Computer skill, including word processing and spreadsheet; accounting software would be an advantage.
5.    Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain confidentiality.
6.    A good sense to work in team and has effective communication skill.
7.    Available for travel.
8.    Fluent in English and Indonesia both oral and written.
9.    Able to work with minimum supervision.
