SNV Indonesia is looking for a:

 Graphic Designer

Based in Jakarta, Indonesia

(National Consultant Contract)

 

 

SNV is a not-for-profit international development organisation. Founded in the Netherlands nearly 50 years ago, we have built a long-term, local presence in 38 of the poorest countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Our global team of local and international advisors work with local partners to equip communities, businesses and organisations with the tools, knowledge and connections they need to increase their incomes and gain access to basic services – empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and guide their own development.

 

SNV is currently establishing a presence in Indonesia under the coordination of the Ministry of Home Affairs through the Directorate General of Regional Development.  SNV and the Directorate General of Regional Development have agreed to implement a program of cooperation for 3 (three) years.

 

SNV is now seeking the services of a graphic designer to work with the Country Director and Communications Officer to support the production of communications material. The successful consultant is expected to work alongside International Communication Consultants that will be appointed to develop the communication strategy. 

 

This assignment can be undertaken by an independent graphic designer or a design company.

 

 

Scope of Work

In line with SNV Global corporate brand and communications strategy , the main roles of the Graphic Designer are:

 

1)    Support the International Consultants  in developing the communication strategy

2)    Assist in designing and printing a broad range of communications material including:

a)    Power point packs

b)    Overall SNV Indonesia Brochure

c)    Sector brochures

d)    Project brochures

e)    Media kits

f)     Movies

3)    Other tasks may be assigned as they relate to the scope of this assignment.

 

 

Contract Duration: for 60 days in total during the period from October 1 2013 to December 31 2014

 

 

Desired start date: 01 October 2013

 

 

Selection Criteria

§  Indonesian nationality

§  University degree in design, communication or marketing

§  Minimum of 4 years professional experience as a graphic designer.

§  Good technical skills, proficient in In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Acrobat.

§  Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office products

§  Good written and oral communication skills in English and Bahasa.
