DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

The Nature Conservancy is a global conservation organization dedicated to preserve the plants, animals, and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters to survive. Currently we are searching qualified candidate to fill position of: DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for increasing public awareness about the mission of The Nature Conservancy and for enhancing visibility of TNC. The specialist helps develop and maintain strong presence and influence in new media as well as helps identify targets and sources for conservation & sustainable development messages. Working under Indonesia Marketing & Communications Division, s/he contributes to and implements an integrated communications strategy and workplan. Reporting to Communications & Marketing Director, the specialist is tasked to lead exponential growth of a digital marketing plan for Indonesia Program. S/he must demonstrate the ability for continuous development and maintenance of Indonesia-specific website & new social media sites, and organization of relevant public events –both virtual and real- involving TNC. Partnering with relevant teams (namely Marketing Resources Center, Digital Marketing Network, Technology & Information System, and Legal), the specialist implements digital marketing plan including coordination and active participation in required sessions, technical specification development and review, to enhance knowledge and skills. Other functions include produce digital media materials and concepts; create and execute digital contents designed for impacts and directed towards critical audiences in Indonesia; maintain and manage web content in Indonesian & English, including copy writing/editing/translating, basic graphic design and other digital communications. S/he manages Indonesian website change requests; works with requestors to ensure accuracy and completion; uses software systems to produce reports for key stakeholders, tracks and analyzes program results as required; monitors and provides regular updates on progress of tactical rollout of marketing programs as required. S/he will be responsible to drive traffic to website, campaigns and promotions. Using web analytics and other tools, will work to analyze web site visitors and work to increase new and returning visitors to nature.or.id.The specialist is also required to help ensure consistent implementation of TNC’s visual identity standards, branding and key messages. Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Programming, English, Journalism, Marketing or related field and 3-5 years related experience or equivalent combination. · Excellent command of written and verbal English and Indonesian. · Excellent writing, translating and proofreading skills with experience in producing written, oral communications into digital media. · Ability to organize time and manage diverse activities. Meet deadlines. · Demonstrated experience in MS Office, Word, and Excel. Familiar with different types of operating systems. May require database management skills with ability to produce reports. Ability to use advanced computer functions including navigating the Internet. Ability to manipulate, analyze and interpret data. · Specific expertise with a number of the following software and hardware systems including but not limited to: Flash, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro Studio. · Experience working with Web technologies, standard tools and practices. Demonstrated initiative with ability to handle multi-faceted environment. · Demonstrated ability to conceive and write technical specifications. · Broad understanding and experience with digital media software, systems and terminology. · Experience organizing and designing for web layout and informational design. · Nature enthusiast, tech savvy, team player and easy going.
