SENIOR HIGHER EDUCATION MANAGER

The British Council in Indonesia is recruiting for the post of : SENIOR HIGHER EDUCATION MANAGER 1 (one) position, Jakarta From IDR 20,222,000 gross monthly starting salary, negotiable depending on experience plus excellent benefits, for a fixed period of two years (renewable) Reporting to Director Indonesia, the post holder will provide professional advice and leadership to the Internationalisation of Higher Education programme in Indonesia in order to build and strengthen mutually beneficial partnerships between UK and Indonesia in Higher Education Key duties of this post include: • To implement the new MoU in Education between Indonesia and the UK • To build visibility and reputation for the programme and for UK Higher Education through the development of a network of strong relationships with the HE community, the media in both countries, and UK government partners • To expand the scale and scope of UK involvement in Higher Education in Indonesia • To facilitate and support international mobility of students and academics and education leaders between UK and Indonesia • To advise on HE policy engagement and reform initiatives and targetted partnership programmes in Indonesia The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate: • A minimum of three years experience in an influential position working to develop international collaboration in Higher Education • Communications Skills • Marketing and Customer Service • Master’s Degree or higher qualification (from a UK university desirable) Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be short-listed for interview A copy of the full role profile and an application form can be downloaded from our website at www.britishcouncil.or.id.
