Working closely with the lively and energetic person, you will lead
and manage in The Management & Operation of Purchasing Department. You
will be challenged in a fast paced yet exciting environment.

Purchasing Manager
(Jakarta)

Responsibilities:

* Job purpose:
o To be responsible for the procurement of commodities
through the development and implementation of commodity strategies
plans and the management of supplier relationship. Other areas of
responsibility include price negotiation, planning, production,
inventory control, quality control and factory control.
* Key duties/responsibilities:
o Adhere to procurement strategy and policies.
o Forecast procurement needs.
o Create and implement KPI’s.
o Continually develop expertise to support growth for new projects.
o Monitor macro trends in supplier and contract base and
implement plans to react.
o Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers.
o Lead the procurement group in all phases.
o Identify and develop training opportunities.
o Order materials and services as per negotiated and
appropriately approved. Review quotations.
o Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase
orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and
conditions.
o Maintain procurement files.
o Track Purchasing activity and measurements.
o Training purchasing Clerks/Subordinates in the department.
o Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods or services
with users, vendors and others to determine cause of problem and take
corrective and preventative action.
o Ensure supplier compliance with site and company
requirements for safety.
o Manage vendor relationships and assist in building
effective partnerships.
o Assist department in developing and implementing
purchasing strategies for products.
o Taking over an existing project of customized and private
label food products.
o Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials,
parts, supplies and equipments in a timely and cost effective way;
timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and
specifications.
o Dealing with suppliers.
o Dealing with Brokers.
o Develop and review purchase requests and ensure
authorization as necessary to facilitate the timely purchase of new
food products.
o Help to lower the cost and secure agreements.
o Liaise with Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate
and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the
supplier.
o Controlling departmental budgets.
o Appraising products and services.

Requirements:

* Relevant degree.
* At least 6 years of relevant experience.
* Good verbal and written English, excellent interpersonal skills,
able to organize and co- ordinate in a systematic manner.
* Competent in PC software.
* Good leadership qualities and high sense of integrity and honesty.
* Self motivated, Able to function independently, Sharp
* Possess good management skills and problem solving skills
