Who we are
The Muntigunung Community Development Program is a partnership between several non profit organisations in the area of Muntigunung in North East Bali. It’s aim is to develop the dry and less privileged area by working together with the local communities to create better access to clean water, healthcare, education and to develop employment opportunities through the Muntigunung Community Social Enterprise. Once poverty stricken, these opportunities have boosted their self-esteem and are providing them with a better future.
The trek
Our award winning 3 hour trek takes guests through the breathtaking landscapes to discover a nearly untouched side of Bali. Apart from the beautiful views, visitors also get to see first hand the employment Muntigunung Community Social Enterprise is creating.

Join the Spectacular Mountain Trekking crew! We need an English speaking guide who can work together with the local village guides and coordinate the trekkings from start to finish.
The job
- Ensure smooth, safe tours from start to finish by accompanying the guests from pick up till drop off.
- Promote the Muntigunung Community Development Program and the region of North Bali.
Requirements
- Physically fit
- Outgoing personality
- Culturally aware
- Interest in community development
- HPI Guide Licence preferable
- Excellent spoken English, German is a plus
- Indonesian national

Bali. Trekking location is in Muntigunung, North Bali
Working hours
Flexible working hours
2 days off per week
Benefits
Fixed base salary with attractive bonus per trek
