Scope of Work – Daily Worker
School Data Collector for Violence Free School (VFS) Study Project
Jakarta Utara, DKI Jakarta & Belu, NTT, April to Mei 2016


Save the Children International – VFS team request for 12 daily workers as School Data Collector to help VFS Study’s  team running the project. Specifically, six of the School Data Collectors and will be placed at North Jakarta office and the other six daily workers will be placed at Belu sub Office They will be under supervised of VFS Study team with close coordination with MEAL assistant in each Office.

Period of Working                     18 April – 21 May 2016
  
Objectives:
To help the research coordinator to collect the data from targeted schools as well as stakeholders for Violence frees school study project

The scopes of work of School Data Collector are:
1. Responsible for data collection in depth interview section with students in the field
2. Responsible for data collection in depth interview section with parents in the field
3. Responsible for data collection in focus group discussion with students in the field
4. Responsible for data collection in focus group discussion with teacher and school administrators    in the field
5. Responsible for the reporting of results in matrix provided by Save the Children
6. Responsible for conducting survey by using KOBO application in the field  
7. Submit the deliverables on time according to the timeline.
8. Responsible for any other tasks required by the Save the Children associated with this data collection, analyses and reporting

Deliverables from School Data Collector :
1.     In depth Interview Session’s Note
2.     In depth interview’s  report in provided matrix
3.     Audio note from Interview Session
4.     FGD session’s  note
5.     FGD report’s  in provided matrix
6.     Audio note from FGD session
7.     Collected survey data from KOBO application

Qualification:
1.     Bachelor Degree in Social Science (Education, Psychology, Anthropology, Social Welfare, etc)
2.     Have experience in conducting research, especially qualitative methods
3.     Demonstrated knowledge and skills on running in depth interview and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) session.
4.     Have good communication skills and good personalities
5.     Skills in accessing M.S Office, especially M.S. Excels
6.     Has an experiencing working with children is preferred

Specifically, one Stakeholder Data Collector will be placed at North Jakarta office and another daily worker will be placed at Belu sub Office He/She will be under supervised of VFS Study team with close coordination with MEAL assistant in each Office.

1.   Responsible for data collection in depth interview section to five stakeholders (such as government in district and provincial level, and other organizations) in the field
2.  Responsible for the reporting of results in matrix provided by Save the Children.
3.  Submit the deliverables on time according to the timeline
4.  Responsible for any other tasks required by the Save the Children associated with this data collection, analyses and reporting

Deliverables from Enumerator Data Collector :
1.     In depth Interview Session Note with stakeholders
2.     In dept interview report in provided matrix
3.     Audio Note from Interview Session
Qualification:
7.     Bachelor Degree in Social Science (Education, Psychology, Anthropology, Social Welfare, etc)
8.     Be a professional consultant in in conducting research, especially qualitative methods with at least 5 years experience
9.     Demonstrated knowledge and skills on running in depth interview and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) session.
10.  Have good communication skills and good personalities
11.  Skills in accessing M.S Office, especially M.S. Excels
12.  Demonstrated knowledge and experience working on administrative and bureaucratic reform, and civil servants management issues
13.  Has an experience working with government agencies is preferred
