Public Affairs Specialist – Education Partnership Outreach Services
Full time position to June 2016
 
URS is the managing contractor of the Education Partnership Outreach Services (EPOS), providing project management and technical support.  The objective of EPOS is to deliver a public diplomacy and outreach program that will ensure Australia’s profile as a partner supporting Indonesia’s education development goals are both visible and recognised.
 
We are seeking expressions of interest from Public Affairs Specialists based in Indonesia who can provide strategic direction, technical expertise and management in the design, delivery and monitoring of EPOS activities.You will have previous experience in high level event management; the development of webpage content, human interest stories, newsletters, media facts sheets and program reports;and have a strong ability to provide strategic advice and write substantive program reports in English.
 
In addition, you will have the following experience:
 
·         Substantial international experience in designing and delivering, large scale and innovative public affairs and communications programs.
·         Proven experience in working with Indonesian media, and strong understanding about the media environment.
·         Experience in high level event management.
·         Experience with an AusAID program is desirable.
·         Be a highly effective communicator, with strong fluency in written and spoken English.
·         Bahasa Indonesia skills are highly desirable.
