Chemonics International, a global international development consulting firm (www.chemonics.com) seeks qualified Indonesian specialists for the USAID Higher Education Leadership and Management (HELM) project in Indonesia.
HELM aims to improve the academic performance of Indonesia’s higher education sector through analytical support for strategic planning, policy analysis, and capacity development approaches for effective implementation of key reforms throughout Indonesia’s higher education sector. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
*Finance Manager*
Plan, manage and implement all aspects of the project accounting system and for maintaining an accounting database. Collect and record all information that will facilitate project financial documentation and records. Prepare documentation for all payment transactions, including but not limited to vouchers, checks, and transfer forms.
*Qualifications*
· B.A./B.S. degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
· Minimum five years of experience in financial management of large international projects.
· Familiarity with compliance to U.S. government cost accounting standards and USAID projects required.
· Experience and skills in developing and managing large budgets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word. Also, experience with accounting software programs such as QuickBooks required.
· Experience in managing procurement logistics preferred.
· Possess excellent organizational, analytical, oral and written communications skills.
· Demonstrated supervisory skills and an ability to work well on teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia required.
