II. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT AND SCOPE

Under the direct supervision of the RCA Programme Coordinator for Eastern Region, in close coordination with Care Coordinator/ Psychosocial Care Support in Jakarta and overall oversight of the Deputy Chief of Mission, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that all social services are carried out in a coordinated and timely manner, in their respective regions of assignment. 

III. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. In coordination with relevant RCA Coordinator, act as primary Partner liaison in the following regions/attendant site coverage: Makassar for coordination of implementation activities in Kupang, Manado, Bali, Balikpapan. 
2. Act as regional care implementation focal point for coordination and monitoring of vulnerability mapping/assessment exercises in the following regions/attendant site coverage: Makassar. 
3. Input regional data/findings pertinent to assessments on psychosocial and protection needs of vulnerable target groups. 
4. Identify NGO in respective areas of assignment, and categorize NGOs based on NGO locations and services. 
5. Regularly inform the RCA Regional Coordinator on site issues, project implementation updates, and mainstreaming of activities with other relevant IOM projects/activities in respective sites of assignment.
6. Utilizing activity tracking and reporting mechanisms, submit quantitative and qualitative data on a monthly basis. 
7. As required, lead mentoring on project strategies and implementation to other relevant staff involved in education and psychosocial activities. 
8. Provide direct supervision and guidance to all Migrant Care Assistants (Psychosocial Care Support) in Makassar as well as conduct the performance evaluation in SES as their first manager and be the second Manager in SES for all Migrant Care Assistants (Psychosocial Care Support) in all sub-offices under Eastern Region.
9. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Technical

a) Knowledge of social work value and ethics, theory and established practices of clinical social work, including assessment, treatment and crisis intervention skills
b) Understanding of the social determinants of health, and the social consequences of lack thereof ; family systems and family dynamics
c) Understanding of diversity as it affects different populations and service delivery, including, but not limited to, gender, sexual identity, culture, ethnic, spirituality and racial issues
d) understanding classification of psychiatric illnesses and. the main classifications of psychotropic medications, including their general use, expected response, and common side effects would be an advantage
e) Effectively applies knowledge of psychosocial issues in execution of responsibilities at appropriate level
f) Maintains confidentiality and discretion in appropriate areas of work
g) Proven ability and experience in liaising with UN, Government Departments/Authorities and other international organizations; 
h) ability to operate software packages required for effective information management, including word processing, and ability to use the internet to find resources and access evidence-based practice research

V. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

a) University degree in psychology, social science, or degree in psychiatric nursing and registered to practice in clinical psychology discipline in Indonesia. 
b) At least six years of working experience with minimum three years of clinical work experience, of which minimal five to several years of experience working in community based programmes or camp settings. 
c) Experience in provision of community based training activities

VI. LANGUAGES

Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both oral and written
