Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia

The Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia is a multi-stakeholder association dedicated to support Indonesian initiatives aiming at supporting governance reform agenda. The Partnership works closely with national and international community to initiate, advocate, and promote sustainable governance reform in Indonesia.

The Partnership brings together the Indonesian Government, Legislature, Judiciary, Civil Society, and the Corporate Sector with the support of the International Community in initiating a long-term process to improve governance in Indonesia in a durable way which expresses Indonesian ownership.

Currently we have immediate vacancies for high caliber Indonesians with high integrity to fill the following position:

Project Assistant for Jangkau dan Libatkan (JABAT)

Summary of key functions:    

Project Management
1. Assisting Program Manager and Junior Program Officer to carry out tasks relating specifically to project administration and budget arrangement, including supporting effective working relationships between the Partnership and implementing partners. This will also include organizing and scheduling meetings, as required.
2. Assisting Program Manager and Junior Program Officer to carry out Project Management Unit’s functions in relation to the selected implementing partners to support the realization of project activities, including providing support to the management of financial resources allocated, maintaining accounting systems that contains records and controls sufficient to ensure the accuracy and reliability of project financial information and reporting.

Project Monitoring
1. Ensure the systematic filing system including in line with audit requirement, including the completion of the project in accordance with standard procedures.
2. Assisting Program Manager/ Junior Project Officer/ Partnership’s Monev Unit to conduct monitoring of project activities, including through field visits, to assess overall project implementation with respect to project objectives, outputs, indicators and, when necessary, suggest corrective measures to be undertaken and reported to the Program Manager.

Project Networking and Partnership
Managing networks and communications with the grantee(s) which are involved in the project implementation to ensure successful and achievement of the project.

Recruitment Qualifications:    

Education
Minimum diploma level qualification (D3) in economic, accounting, or other relevant fields.

Experience
With a minimum 3 (three) years experiences in financial and administrative matter (budget arrangement and financial report); the implementation and management of projects related to public policy making, and/or parliamentary sector.

Experience in working and 
collaborating with civil society organizations and public international 
organizations would be a significant asset; Experience in conducting 
effective coordination and communication with donor agencies or other 
similar agencies would be a significant asset;Well developed analytical and presentation skills;Excellent skill on the use of IS/IT, including microsoft office (Word and Excel);Team player, able to work respectfully and cooperatively with colleagues of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.

Language Requirements
Fluency in English with excellent verbal and drafting skills
