Southeast Asia Technology and Transparency Initiative (SEATTI) is a joint initiative of Omidyar Network (ON) and Hivos. This initiative will support technology-driven civil society organizations working in areas of media and government transparency in Southeast Asia. Based in Hivos’ office in Jakarta, SEATTI aims to build a vibrant technology for transparency sector in Southeast Asia over the three-year period.

PROGRAMME OFFICER
Reporting to the Program Manager of SEATTI, the Programme Officer for Learning will have combined responsibilities as:
I. Main Responsibilities
• Preparing lessons learned from the Project and developing a plan for future activities
• Carrying out monitoring and evaluation of the impact and outcome of the grantee both individually and overall funding
• Contribute to Investment Activities in SEATTI such as brokering, scouting, investing, mentoring and linking and learning.
• Building related communication materials for learning process in SEATTI
• Take a part in the process of providing recommendations to the Investment Committee on how to structure assistance
• Contribute to the process of ensuring that reporting and reviewing obligations to the Investment Committee have been met in timely manner
• Building and strengthening networks and partnership relevant and/or strategic to the Project
• Contribute program highlights to the Annual Report, Midterm Review, and other communication materials
• Be a member of Hivos overall Expression and Engagement Team and maintain good communication with the other Hivos program officers ICT at the Head Office
• Organize occasional in-house and external seminars or consultations
Qualification:
Good working experiences in monitoring and evaluation field. A degree in either communication, technologies, development studies or a related discipline. Good understanding of and affinity with the use of digital media, transparency and accountability to strengthen the role of civil society. Experience in Project Management and strong writing, communication and networking skills. Good understanding of- and strong affinity with civil society, in particular with non-governmental organizations. Good command of spoken & written English. A good team worker.
