Chemonics International Inc

Chemonics International Inc. seeks an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Specialist for the anticipated ASEAN Connectivity through Trade and Investment (ACTI) project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The overall development goal of this project is to strengthen ASEAN integration by expanding capacity in trade, investment and human capital to enable ASEAN to drive its realization of ASEAN Economic Community and integration into the global economy.

The ICT Specialist will work to build the capacity of ASEAN member states to implement the ASEAN ICT Master Plan.  We are eager to engage people with a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Minimum qualifications include:

·        Advanced degree in computer science, information technology or electronic engineering required
·        Extensive experience leading efforts to build developing countries’ ICT capacity and advocate for using ICT tools for information management
·        Knowledge of ICT in ASEAN member states required
·        Proven ability to adapt ICT international best practices to the ASEAN member states
·        Work or consultancy experience with ASEAN strongly preferred
·        Minimum 8 years of experience working on donor-funded or government trade programs
·        Ability to develop effective working relationships with counterparts at all levels
·        Strong verbal and written communications skills
·        Competency in preparing and presenting concise and effective reports in English
