Long Term Audit Coordinator - Jakarta, Indonesia - AusAID funded Performance Oversight and Monitoring (POM)

GRM International has been appointed as the Performance Oversight and Monitoring (POM) contractor for the Australia Indonesia Education Partnership (EP).

The AusAID funded POM project is hiring an Audit Coordinator to support procurement by POM of audit firms as subcontractors in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules. Based in Jakarta, with  considerable  travel within Indonesia as required, the Audit Coordinator in consultation with the Operations Manager, and in
alignment with AusAID and GoI policies, will be responsible for:

• Supporting securing approval of Scope of Services, preparation of tender documentation, management of tender evaluation, contract negotiation and appointment.
• Liaising with contracted audit companies to agree the workplan, audit instruments and reporting format for all audits.
• Liaising with the GoI ministries and departments associated with the audits to facilitate and expedite the certified audits.
• Ensuring that contracted certified auditors have liaison and logistics support to conduct their assignment with the intended GoI agencies under audit.
• Assist the POM Operations Manager to oversee the contracts of the audit companies implementing the audits including the provision of logistical support and monitoring all sub-contracted firms and personnel.
• Contribute as necessary to the draft audit reports submitted by the contracted audit companies and ensure incorporation of comments and approval of final audit reports by the audit companies.
• Based on audit findings, contribute to the preparation and writing of a Consolidated Annual Audit Report and contribute to any other reports as required.
• Assume any other duties as determined by the Operations Manager.

Interested candidates should have:
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the field of audit and procurement, preferably in GOI and international donor-funded projects.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in financial and compliance audit, in particular with preparation, implementation, findings, reporting and analysis.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in audit tender and procurement.
• Thorough understanding of GOI audit mechanism.
• Demonstrated ability to promote and initiate work processes and complete given assignments with minimum supervision.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia, a good working knowledge of English and have ability to write reports in English.
• Advanced computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and the internet.
• Ability to work in a team and be customer-satisfaction oriented.
• Trustworthiness, integrity, good analytical thinking and attention to detail.
