Regional CSR Specialist - Riau Province
The Provincial CSR Specialist conducts monitoring and evaluation of CSR activities of the Foundation’s corporate partners in the region, provides technical support to program teams in of the Foundation and of the corporate partners in the field on matters related to execution of monitoring and evaluation systems and processes. He/she provides technical assistance for field teams and assists in analysis and follow-on recommendations to influence project activities, as well as future program development.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Support in the design and development of monitoring and evaluation systems and impact evaluation of CD/CSR activities of the business group in the field. The design will include standardizing indicators by sectors and developing standard questionnaires.
2. Provide technical assistance in implementation of monitoring and evaluationactivities (baselines, mid-term reviews, report preparation, etc.), including to ensure the appropriate indicators, questions and methodology.
3. Provide technical assistance to project staff on how to use and maximize use of M&Esystems within projects. And work with them to organize, summarize and utilize data and data findings (including visualization and reporting of project findings).
4. Together with National CSR Specialist and M&E Coordinator, develop systematic, coherent and updated database that allows monitoring of regional impact.
5. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual provincial reports to National CSR Specialist.
6. Support the design and implementation of community development projects of the corporate partners and ensure alignment with the poverty reduction objectives.
7. Implement trainings/ workshops series to build the capacityof project staff to better monitor and evaluate their projects, and to make better use of project information. Provide advice on the use of M&E related software and hardware in the field.
8. Conduct or participate in special studies/ researches/ projects upon request.
9. Support the preparation of proposals and other program development activities byproviding quantitative data from projects as required.
10. Such other duties as reasonably assigned by the supervisor and/or the Management of the Foundation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Relevant university degree in social sciences
· At least 3 years experience in the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems in Indonesia
· Previous experience in assessment and evaluation of development actions
· Experience in designing, developing and maintaining project database
· Experience in training and mentoring is an advantage
· Ability to work independently in challenging working environment
· Excellent communication and report writing skills, English desired
· Computer literate
· Very good interpersonal and communication skills.
· Specific technical skills in organic farming, livestock, agribusiness or local economic development will be an advantage.
· Light Vehicle driving and/or motorcycle riding ability. Proven by valid SIM A and/or C type.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The position is based in the fields of Riau Province. The position holder needs to be able to work and travel in challenging environments, often with basic amenities.
