Cowater international is a Canadian private sector company that manages international development projects, including three current projects in Indonesia. Cowater intends to bid on an upcoming AusAID project, MAMPU Indonesia: Maju Perempuan Indonesia untuk Penanggulangan Kemiskinan, and is currently recruiting key personnel for inclusion in its proposal. Position Description – Finance and Grants Manager

The Finance Manger will report directly to the Team Leader, and provide support and advice to program partners and AusAID in managing the implementation of the program. 


The Finance and Grants Manger will have the following, skills knowledge and experience: 

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; an MBA, CPA, or other advanced degree is preferred 
• Minimum five plus years administering or coordinating financial activities 
• Accounting/financial management experience in a civil society setting 
• Excellent skills in Excel spreadsheet presentations and in financial reporting systems 
• Familiarity with AusAID financial and procurement procedures 
• Excellent relationship-building and relationship-management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence & motivate colleagues 
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and cross-cultural communication skills essential 

In addition to technical expertise, all candidates should possess the following: 
• Experience working in Indonesia
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia
• Strong understanding of gender issues in Indonesia
• Experience working with civil society organizations
• Experience working on gender programs
• Experience working on AusAID programs (asset)
