The role:
The Indonesia Programme Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that there is adequate operational support to the joint Oxfam program (SMS) this involvessupporting Oxfam Great Britain (OGB) in Indonesia tomanageOxfam’s commitments and obligations to donorsin arange of technical areas. Secondly, the role will serve as the focal person for Oxfam Australia in Indonesia, leading on representation of Oxfam Australia (OAU) for programmatic issues as well as in the process of acquiring Government of Indonesia registration for OAU to operate in Indonesia. The final area of responsibility relates to supporting other OAU work and investments in the region.This could be in the area of Gender, livelihoods, approaches to partnership and program management.
To be successful in this role you will:
We are looking for a mature development professional who can draw on your range of experience and years in the job to represent Oxfam externally and support any aspect of a program to ensure its succes regardless of the technical content. You will be faultlessly commited to gender equity and supporting the rights of women in the Oxfam programs. You’ll have ability and energy to work with a range of people both Internaitonal and national motivating them to work together and strive for quality and innovation in their work. You’’l lhave great written and verbal communications skills with an ability to simplify informaiton to influence other. Finally you will enjoy working both autonimously and as a team member ready to take the lead and initiative when required.
