Currently we are seeking a Fundraising Manager for Jakarta Base
Reporting to Fundraising Director, the Fundraising Manager is responsible to:
• Manage and monitor the Direct Dialogue Coordinator and help implement their plans
• In consultation with the Fundraising Director develop and take responsibility for direct dialogue targets (income / supporter numbers / expenditure)
• Manage and monitor the Supporter Care Coordinator and help implement their plans
• In consultation with the Fundraising Director develop and take responsibility for continuing support targets (income / supporter numbers / expenditure)
• Manage and monitor the Supporter Relationships Coordinator and help implement their plans
• Raise funds from major donors and foundations
• Develop a middle donor giving program
• Provide leadership to the Indonesia fundraising team
• Produce three year and one year overall budgets and plans for the Indonesia fundraising program and manage and report on those budgets
• Carry out regular marketplace and competitor evaluations
• Contribute to strategic planning for the fundraising division
• Provide monthly reports and other analysis as required by the Fundraising Director
• Work closely with Fundraising Director, Deputy Fundraising Director, Regional Database Coordinator and Regional Other Acquisition Coordinator to investigate, test and evaluate new fundraising initiatives
• Take on other responsibilities as requested or assigned by the Fundraising Director
• Undertake job responsibilities in a manner consistent with Greenpeace’s policies and guidelines, rules and regulations
Qualification :
• Bachelor Degree (Marketing / Communications / Business Administration or related field)
• 3 years+ experience in fundraising, direct marketing or sales
• 3 years+ experience in leading and managing teams
• Ideally have some experience working for an international NGO
Essential Skills:
• Excellent verbal communication (English and Bahasa)
• Strong written skills (both English and Bahasa), including the ability to interpret and re-write information
• Ability to ask for money (“close a sale”) and handle objections
• Time, task and record management skills
• Public speaking skills
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Planning and evaluation skills
• Ability to analyze figures and make decisions based on database and financial information and analysis and other reporting mechanisms
• Mature and organized, with an attention to detail
• Customer service and relationship building
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, internet and email
• Commitment to the ideals of Greenpeace
